Get away from it all and enjoy a Canadian wilderness experience at Fireside Lodge. Fireside Lodge is road accessible and is the only resort located on Little Vermilion Lake. Little Vermilion is the largest in an eleven-lake system. Approximately sixteen miles long, Little Vermillion is a long narrow body of water with a lower and upper section. Little Vermilion offers our guests some of the best muskie, northern pike, bass and whitefish fishing Canada has to offer; year after year. We at Fireside Lodge follow a catch-and-release program to protect the resource and the sport. Therefore, this multi-lake system offers you exceptional sportfishing.

New modern log cabins are nestled in the trees along the lake front, providing a comfortable home-away-from-home atmosphere for your stay. Lodge rooms also accommodate our guests, each with a refrigerator. Modern bathroom facilities are located in the lodge and in the American Plan cabins to make your stay in the Great North a comfortable one. During your stay at Fireside Lodge, you'll enjoy the comforts of immaculate accommodations and personal dining room service. Our menu will please every taste and appetite, including health conscious choices and special dietary requirements. In fact, you'll have more time to yourself on our American Plan because everything is taken care of for you!

Our lodge provides a change of atmosphere from your everyday life. Photographers will enjoy the natural surroundings and the wildlife that our area has to offer. Uchi Lake Lodge

Uchi Lake Lodge is a fly-in fishing lodge in Northwestern Ontario offering hospitality, comfort, cleanliness, , and best of all a pristine remote wilderness with unsurpassed fishing and hunting. We are the only resort on Uchi Lake. If you are looking for an exceptional fishing experience the walleye ( 2 - 10 lbs.) and northern pike ( 8 - 25 lbs.) are abundant. The lake is approximately 12 miles long with numerous islands, protected bays, and feeder creeks. We can accommodate groups of 2 up to 30 guests in comfort.

American Plan includes accommodations with electricity, private showerhouse, daily maid service, lunch, dinner on arrival, breakfast on morning of departure, 3 meals per day, 14' boats, new Mercury motor, all your gasoline, ice, linens and towels, cleaning/packaging and freezing of meat, flight to and from base. Conservation licence, minnow buckets, fish measuring devices, landing nets, boat seats and cushions.

When you arrive in Sioux Lookout to fly to Uchi Lake, your aircraft will be waiting for you. There is no weight limit on our aircraft so feel free to pack for comfort. If you would like groceries waiting for you when you arrive - just call us and we will gladly pick them up for you free of charge.
