Medicine Stone Resort is located on Upper Medicine Stone Lake, 15 miles west of Red Lake, in Northwestern Ontario. The main resort is secluded. The atmosphere very much resembles that of an outpost camp. All of our drive-in and fly-in cabins are housekeeping cabins.

The drive-in resort will appeal to those looking for convenient access while the fly-in outpost will appeal to those looking for complete isolation. Trophy walleye, northern pike and lake trout fishing opportunities are equal, regardless of whether guests choose the drive-in resort or fly-in outpost locations.

The lakes contain a wide variety of structures and depths up to 120 ft, guaranteeing consistent fishing action year-round. The cool spring fed waters are rich in oxygen, keeping the walleye and lake trout active even in July and August, while the shallow bays and reefs harbour trophy northern pike.

Fall black bear hunting is the best in Ontario. Hunters have the opportunity of seeing black bear in excess of 500 lbs. Our black bear hunting management unit is almost half the size of Rhode Island. The 3rd largest black bear in North America was taken from the Red Lake area (over 750 lbs).

Latreille Lake Lodge offers the very best for your Canadian fly-in fishing trip. Latreille Lake Lodge is a Fly-In American Plan Lodge that is located 54 air miles northeast of Ear Falls, Ontario and is ACCESSABLE ONLY BY FLOAT PLANE. Our lodging facility has ten double occupancy bedrooms and four fully equipped bathrooms with indoor plumbing. For groups who prefer more privacy, we have a fully modern cabin that will accommodate up to 8 people behind the lodge with a southern view of Latreille Lake. All meals are served in the main lodge.

Latreille Lake Lodge offers fishing in an endless series of pristine lakes. Immediately accesible are Latreille Lake, Margaret Lake, and the Wenesaga River. By taking a short portage, Allison Lake, Marsh Lake and the Sesikinaga River are also accessible. Each lake offers excellent Walleye, Northern Pike and Yellow Perch action. Fish size range from 1 to over 12 lbs. for Walleye (the average being about 1-1/2 lbs.) and 3 to over 30 lbs. for Northern Pike (the average being about 5 lbs.). There are approximately 480 kilometers of pristine shoreline to fish and explore.

Sandy Beach Lodge

SANDY BEACH LODGE ... is a fly-in fishing resort located 26 miles east north east of Red Lake, Ontario, Canada. It is located on Trout Lake, a lake consisting of over 300 sq. miles of cool, clear deep water. It is dotted with numerous islands and bays to give the fisher person a wide variety of different types of structure to fish. Located in the waters are an abundance of Walleye, Northern Pike, and Lake Trout fishing. Sixteen and eighteen foot Lund boats, with updated motors, provide trouble-free boating.

Our well kept, modern cottages accommodate from two to eight guests and provide comfort and relaxation. Big North Lodge & Outposts

Base: Minaki

Great Fishing..."upscale" accommodations available in a remote, private and peaceful setting on the mainland or unbelievable Fly-In Fishing at our "Trophy Waters" Roger Lake & Maynard Lake Outposts. Throughout the season, from May to October, fishing is excellent for walleye, northern pike, bass and muskie. Our camp, with a maximum capacity of 30 guests, is small enough to be considered your own private fishing lodge, but has the advantages of personalized service and hospitality offered by your hosts.

The Roger Lake Outpost features total privacy. You’re on the uninhabited Sturgeon River which abounds with trophy pike and walleye and features some of the finest small mouth bass fishing in Northwestern Ontario. Our two cabins at Roger Lake will accommodate up to 12 people, in comfortable, clean quarters with large dining rooms for those festive group dinners. There’s a barbeque, indoor shower, hot and cold running water, and a sunny deck overlooking the lake. We supply you with six boats, equipped with reliable 9.9 h.p. motors.

The Cabin at Maynard Lake is the ultimate wilderness hideout for two people. Located on the English River system it will sleep four people in comfort, but it’s the perfect place for a couple. The cabin is newly remodeled, with big windows that overlook the sparkling waters of the lake. There’s sandy beaches right in front of the cabin and a sheltered cove where you can park your boat out of the wind. The lake has numerous islands, bays and narrow channels so no matter which way the wind is blowing there’s always sheltered fishing water for walleye and pike within a few miles of home.

Our guests will fly out of Minaki with River Air and we do check flights every second day with our own Bellanca Scout plane.

Uchi Lake Lodge

Base: Sioux Lookout

Uchi Lake Lodge is a fly-in fishing lodge in Northwestern Ontario offering hospitality, comfort, cleanliness, , and best of all a pristine remote wilderness with unsurpassed fishing and hunting. We are the only resort on Uchi Lake. If you are looking for an exceptional fishing experience the walleye ( 2 - 10 lbs.) and northern pike ( 8 - 25 lbs.) are abundant. The lake is approximately 12 miles long with numerous islands, protected bays, and feeder creeks. We can accommodate groups of 2 up to 30 guests in comfort.

Walleye Lake Outposts

Fly-In Fishing at it's finest at Walleye Lake Outposts based out of Kenora in Northwestern Ontario's Sunset Country, about 130 Miles Northwest of International Falls Minnesota. We fly you to our deluxe, remote cottages, accessible only by float plane where you experience complete fishing privacy & great angling.

Walleye Lake, rich with tons of Walleye, produces on average 1-3 lbs with many 4-to-6 lbs, plus lots of Small-mouth Bass & Northern Pike. Or take a 4-minute portage to a boat & motor located on Little Walleye Lake, just loaded with more fishing action.

Both our deluxe 2-bedroom cottages on Walleye Lake, built for comfort, offer carpeted bedrooms, screened-in porches, full kitchen facilities and are equipped with hot & cold running water & hot showers.  Located over a mile apart to offer a private wilderness experience or larger groups can use both & enjoy the entire lake as we are the only outfitter on Walleye Lake!
