Auld Reekie Lodge, opened year around, is nestled among birch and pine trees on the northwest tip of Gowganda Lake in Northern Ontario about three hours north of either Sudbury or North Bay. Auld Reekie is a year around, 4 STAR fishing, adventure and hunting lodge ideal for your next fishing trip or hunting trip. Our lake extends for 35 miles. A contour map shows why it’s a fisherman’s paradise with it’s many rocky shoals, weeded areas, sharp drop-offs and stumpy shallows and holes up to 198 ft. deep. You can catch a wide variety of fish including Northern Pike, Walleye, Small Mouth Bass, and Perch, and in near by lakes you can fish for trophy Lake Trout. The variety of species we have in one fishery will make your fishing trip more interesting and pleasurable. A number of fishing packages and remote flyin fishing day trips are available. ATV and snowmobile enthusiasts can access a network of excellent trails. We have snow from December to the end of March.
