Welcome to Lookout Point Camp. A pristine gem in the north, we offer a wilderness surrounding gracefully situated on the northern tip of picturesque Gowganda Lake. Spanning thirty-six miles of rugged and unspoiled shoreline, our lake is nestled amid a junction of flowing lakes and rivers, ultimately feeding the Montreal River watershed. We are proud to offer first-rate fishing opportunities. Take your pick of the tasty walleye, feisty northern pike, acrobatic smallmouth, lake trout, or the roaming whitefish and perch. From fishing and hunting to hiking and canoeing, Lookout Point Camp is pleased to offer a vacation package that is sure to meet each and every one of your needs.
Our rustic camp consists of four waterfront cabins, all overlooking the splendid views of Gowganda Lake. All amenities are provided for, making your "temporary" home a welcoming retreat. Choose from one of two, two bedroom cabins (sleeps four), one three bedroom (sleeps six), and a six bedroom (sleeps 12.) With a cozy fireplace to warm your weary bones after a long day on the lake, a screened- in porch to savour that early morning coffee in or the spacious living room to relax with a good book, our cabins all provide a wonderful atmosphere for enjoying your stay.
Activities abound at Lookout Point Camp. Cast a line off the dock, hike one of the many trails with camera in hand or feel the sand under your feet as you hoist one of our volleyballs. Pick some berries while taking a leisurely stroll, drift into slumber while the cozy campfire blazes around you or take delight in a tempting shore lunch with all the fixings. For those looking for adventure, logging roads are abundant throughout our area, offering the cyclist or ATV enthusiast miles of trails that are ripe for exploring. Many of these paths lead to back lakes or rapids, allowing photographic opportunities that will amaze and delight you.
Gowganda Lake is the perfect backdrop for hunting enthusiasts, with our camp offering the choice of moose, ruffed grouse and waterfowl as adversaries. Lookout Point Camp is located in Wildlife Management area #40, a region that offers dense brush, open fields, back roads and plentiful watering holes - a mixture of hunting sceneries that will surely add to the exciting experience. |

Twin-J
Hide-A-Way is located on Mattagami Lake which is well known
in Ontario for having outstanding fishing for walleye, northern
pike and smallmouth bass. We also have easy access to the Minisinakwa
River for walleye and northern pike fishing and there
are many other lakes in the area which have excellent lake trout,
brook trout, splake, walleye and northern pike fishing easily
accessed via portage, ATV or snowmobile and daylong fly-in trophy
fishing is available via the local air service. But you don't
need to be into fishing to enjoy our beautiful Northern Ontario
wilderness. There are many exciting family eco-activities to
enjoy that will create life long memories for your children.
Housekeeping Cottages, Outpost and Camping: We have clean fully
equipped, affordable cottages that sleep 4-6 people comfortably.
Our on-site store carries grocery items as well as bait and
souvenirs. We also have a remote outpost camp located approximately
9 miles up the river with hot and cold running water and full
kitchen for those who really want to be alone with nature.
Serviced and un-serviced lots for RVs, tents, tent trailers
and trailers available close to the lodge.
Adventure Activities: There are many family eco-activities all
year round such as ATVing, snowmobiling, hiking, swimming, bird
watching, rockhounding, wildlife photography and much more.
We are located on the top snowmobile trail between Timmins and
Sudbury and snowmobile trippers are always welcome here.
Wilderness Canoe Trips & Camping: We rent canoes and kayaks
to canoe trippers as we are in the heart of Ontario's best backcountry
Canoe routes. We are close to the Nabakwasi River Canoe Route,
Circle 4 Canoe Route and the Spanish River Canoe Route, which
are all easily accessible right from our dock.
Hunting: We have an outstanding Black Bear Hunt with a very
high success rate. We also supply Moose hunting accommodations
for WMU 29 and WMU 31. Our many ATV and hiking trails are excellent
for fall Grouse hunting. You can jump in the boat and head into
the Nabakwasi River or the Minisinakwa River for excellent duck
and goose hunting.

Welcome to Green Wilderness Lodge on beautiful Lake Mattagami. The remote setting is the ideal place for that special fishing or hunting experience, or a relaxing family vacation.
Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you travel 40 miles of open waterways, which abound with Northern Pike, Walleye, Whitefish, Perch and Smallmouth Bass.
Lake Mattagami has perfect structure for a high Walleye population with many rocky points, drop-offs, islands and shoals. Plentiful nature trails offer the opportunity to explore the diverse landscape and snap the perfect photograph of grouse, snowshoe rabbit, lynx, black bear, ducks, geese or moose.
A daily fly-in fishing trip or a short sight-seeing tour by air may be arranged with prior notice.
Cottages - Relax in our comfortable and clean housekeeping cottages. All cottages overlook the lake and are fully equipped including a 3-piece bath. . There is also a lounge in the main lodge where you can play cards, pool or just relax and meet some of the other guests.
Outpost Cabin - For guests who want a truly isolated wilderness trip and privacy, we built an outpost cabin 3/4 miles down the lake in 2002. The cabin sleeps 12 people and is equipped with most of the amenities of our base-camp cottages. (minimum 4 people)
Green Wilderness Lodge is an ATV adventure paradise. The local terrain changes into many different environments. We have ATV trails, animal paths, old abandoned roads, clear-cut areas, swamps, ponds, rivers and rocky areas. All these conditions make for an awesome ATV trip.
The Gogama Wilderness Region, which is south of Timmins, is famous for Black Bear and Moose hunting. There are lots of small lakes, ponds, swamps and clear-cut areas, which is the terrain that Moose love the best. This area is WMU 29.

Auld Reekie Lodge, opened year around, is nestled among birch and pine trees on the northwest tip of Gowganda Lake in Northern Ontario about three hours north of either Sudbury or North Bay. Auld Reekie is a year around, 4 STAR fishing, adventure and hunting lodge ideal for your next fishing trip or hunting trip. Our lake extends for 35 miles. A contour map shows why it’s a fisherman’s paradise with it’s many rocky shoals, weeded areas, sharp drop-offs and stumpy shallows and holes up to 198 ft. deep. You can catch a wide variety of fish including Northern Pike, Walleye, Small Mouth Bass, and Perch, and in near by lakes you can fish for trophy Lake Trout. The variety of species we have in one fishery will make your fishing trip more interesting and pleasurable. A number of fishing packages and remote flyin fishing day trips are available. ATV and snowmobile enthusiasts can access a network of excellent trails. We have snow from December to the end of March.
Our accommodations have been rated as "4 STAR" by Tourism Ontario. We offer full American, meals included plans and packages and housekeeping rates for our suites, cabins and larger cottages. Recreational facilities inlcude boats, canoes, kayaks and a sand beach. Walking and hiking trails are within easy reach.
Hundreds of miles of ATV trails are easily accessible from Gowganda and Auld Reekie Lodge. Guided tours are available with local experienced guides to lead you to the marked and unmarked trails. Ride to high lands with vistas that include beautiful lakes. Ride the hills and valley, explore old logging roads and survey some remaining stands of old growth forest.
Hunting At Auld Reekie Lodge -
Whether you are hunting for Moose, Black Bear or Grouse, the forest surrounding Gowganda with it’s old logging and mining roads, which penetrate deep into the forest, offer a hunting experience like no other.
We offer several winter vacation options. You can snowmobile on hundreds of kilometers of groomed trails, go cross-country skiing on nearby trails, take a brisk stroll and enjoy some of our breathtaking scenery, or try your hand at ice fishing on one of the hundreds of lakes in this area. Regardless of what you do, at the end of the day you can come back to the lodge and relax beside a cozy fireplace and enjoy the great food offered in our licensed dining room. |

Bay Wolf Camp is located on the shore of West Shiningtree Lake
in the hamlet of Shining Tree. This region of north east Ontario
is an accessible wilderness area attracting sportsmen from all
over the United States and Canada. We
keep boats on Ten lakes for the convenience of our guests. Our
guests can literally fish a different lake each day of the week
with the choice of fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth
Bass, Brook Trout, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout, Splake, Perch
and Whitefish. All lakes in this area are on public land, but
it is not uncommon to fish all day without seeing another boat.
We
pride ourselves in providing clean and modern accommodations,
fully equipped with private 3 or 4 piece washrooms. We have
3 two bedroom cottages, 1 three bedroom cottage, 1 two bedroom
suite (with two 4 piece washrooms) and 1 three bedroom suite
(with one 4 piece and one 3 piece washroom). Our "all inclusive"
fishing packages include modern housekeeping accommodations,
boats & motors, outboard gas & oil, boating accessories,
bait, freezer service and all taxes.
Our combination Small Game-Fishing Package is the ideal choice
for the late season sportsman. Vary your day, hunting during
the crisp morning and cool evening hours and fishing in the
mid-day warmth. You can take our combination package from September
15th to the end of October.
Bear Hunting Package includes one week hunt, modern housekeeping
accommodations, baited sites & orientation, tracking and
recovery and all taxes. Our Bear Management Area
consists of 80 square miles of wilderness, some areas rarely
or never hunted and the black bear population in this area continues
to thrive. We have sites suitable for archery, rifle, shotgun
and muzzle loading hunters. For an additional cost, we offer
the Fishing Package with the Bear Hunt.
