| Sir
Sam's Inn |
Activities:
Fishing, Boating, Spa, Snowmobiling, Skiing, |
|
Sir Sam's Inn and WaterSpa was once the Haliburton estate of Sir Samuel Hughes. The 10-bedroom stone and timber mansion he built along Eagle Lake's shoreline uniquely combined his desire for civilized comforts with his respect for nature's own bold architecture. That mutual respect continues today. While we've added 16 lakeside accommodations, a conference wing and many other amenities, nature remains the guest of honour.
Accommodation options include luxurious inn rooms with whirlpool bath and fireplace, intimate lakeside rooms with fireplace, balcony or patio and two bedroom suites and chalets with kitchen, living area, whirlpool bath, fireplace, and BBQ. Nature's gifts are also celebrated in our dining room and wine cellar. Our kitchen is consistently rated one of the best north of Toronto always serving a fresh choice of delectable appetizers, entrees and desserts daily.
Stroll through acres of pine and hardwood forest on a nature trail or cruise the crystalline lakes in our classic fantail launch. You can water-ski, windsurf, sail, kayak, canoe, swim play tennis, or go mountain biking. After a day outdoors, time for a soothing soak in our new mineral pool, with underwater music and a unique hydrotherapy circuit designed to relax and stimulate. The WaterSpa also offers luxuriating spa treatments, sauna and exercise studio. At Sir Sam's, romantic moments are our specialty. We offer breathtaking sunsets, candlelit dining, active fun-filled days, and intimate rooms with Jacuzzi for two!
Whatever the season Sir Sam's offers an abundance of activity packages to enjoy. Our Loon Song Spa is available year round and will treat you to a welcome selection of massages and other body treatments. Why not mix business with pleasure? Our Conference Wing is designed for group, corporate and social functions. Before you plan your next meeting, why not meet with us. |
